AbouT The SHF

SHF preserves and operates Silver Heel, sustaining a tradition that has distinguished the Chesapeake Bay for centuries.

Silver Heel is a traditional Chesapeake log canoe, built on the shores of the Chester River as a workboat and now taking part in a racing tradition that dates to 1850s.
